“Hell of the west ‘Just for kids’ triathlon” by Sharron Bates. This article outlines the triathlon event held at Goondiwindi the point of view of Sharron. It includes the results of that race.

“Nuts & bolts on Hawaii” by Fred Knudsen is a report of the difficult race held in Hawaii and the world chamionships race held at Disney World, Orlando, Florida, USA. The race at Disney World was described as difficult due to the hot, humid weather, limited availability of suitable food and limited availability of the track to train.

This edition contains commercial advertisements.

Dr Hunt used these documents in her research for the book Multisport dreaming: The foundations of triathlon in Australia published in 2014.
