This project was designed to investigate the mechanisms by which recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) and recombinant insulin-like growth factor-1 (rIGF-1), over a range of physiological and supra-physiological concentrations, regulate key components of mitochondrial function in addition to determining the subsequent impact of this regulation on cellular viability.
