Abstract

This editorial comments on the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines for monitoring fetal movements and the original trial upon which they are based. In view of the age of the trial it is suggested that a new study may be timely - perhaps even a review of all current methods developed to assess fetal wellbeing.
