Antitrust law; law of business associations, legal aspects of the commercialisation of science; venture capital and technology transfer.
Profile:
Damien has practiced in antitrust, company and intellectual property law in Queensland and New South Wales in addition to serving other corporate counsel roles in Victoria and overseas. Damien’s commercial experience and interest encompasses the development and implementation of corporate strategies for start-up companies. This includes project and venture capital sourcing, IPO development, technology transfer and intellectual property licensing. He is also the CEO of pharmaBank, a boutique life science incubator. Damien contributes regularly to scholarly journals and lectures in areas related to trade practices law and the biotechnology sector.
