Abstract
This article will address the area of arbitration of matrimonial property disputes. This topic is of particular interest in Australia in 2000 as long-awaited legislation is proposed to pass through Federal Parliament by 1 July, 2000 to enable the enforcement of matrimonial property and spousal maintenance arbitral awards.
