Australian Journal of Clinical Education

Aims & Scope

The AJCE is an open-access double blind peer-reviewed journal, which aims to encourage and stimulate research and innovation in clinical education, provide a platform for discussion and debate, and provide opportunities to publish qualitative and quantitative clinical research in the areas of Law, Medicine and Health Sciences (including Psychology, Nursing and Midwifery). It also aims to serve as an important resource for Australian and international clinical educators and university clinics, and to promote good practice in all disciplines.

All accepted papers are published and made available at no cost to the author or the reader and may be freely downloaded and used in accordance with the terms of the accompanying Creative Commons licence.

This journal does not levy any Article Processing Charge for the processing or publication of a paper and download statistics are provided for each article and to each author with a Digital Commons account.

Content

Length of Submissions

All submissions must be accompanied by an abstract of 100-200 words.

  • Editorials
  • Articles: Proposed word count maximum 5,000-7,000 words excluding endnotes and references
  • "From the Field" section: shorter pieces (case notes, update on current developments ) of 2,000-3,000 words
  • Book reviews: 300-500 words

Higher Education clinical teachers and students; legal professionals; Medicine & Health Sciences professionals; clinical instructors; Higher Education teachers generally.
