In August 2003 I was given the opportunity to make a presentation at the ADR session of the 2003 annual Family Law Practitioners Association (FLPA) weekend conference. When the conference timetable was published, along with the Conference registration forms, I noticed that the ADR session was scheduled for the Sunday morning (the morning immediately after the previous night’s conference dinner) and that I and the two other ADR presenters had been allocated 15 minutes each to speak on any aspect of ADR of our choice!
