Here in Part 2, conflict management and dispute system design theory form the basis for an analysis of dispute procedure under Pt 4 of the Franchising Code of Conduct. The analysis indicates some ways in which the current dispute resolution process outlined in Pt 4 of the Code might better serve the participants in the process.
